Every piece begins at the bench in my Hobart studio—sawn, forged and finished by hand, either in small batches or as a one-of-a-kind piece. I work with precious metals, and the stones are sourced from around the world, so no two pieces are ever quite alike.
I acknowledge and pay my respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional and original custodians of the land known as lutruwita (Tasmania), and particularly to the Muwinina people, on whose unceded lands I live and work here in nipaluna (Hobart).
I honour their enduring connection to Country, land, waters and culture, and pay my respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
